Founder Jannica came to Los Angeles from the Philippines with a passion for creating something meaningful. After rebuilding her life following the devastating 2009 Ondoy typhoon and facing unexpected setbacks, she found herself starting over once again during the pandemic.

With little more than a folding table, a single refrigerator, and unwavering faith, Jannica transformed her garage into a small sushi kitchen. What began as a humble ghost kitchen has since grown into a full-service restaurant in the heart of Culver City.

Today, iEight Sushi brings together traditional Japanese craftsmanship and fresh California inspiration. From our signature Pizza Box Sushi to every handcrafted roll we serve, each dish reflects the passion, perseverance, and love that built iEight from the ground up.
